Heuston Station

Dublin Zoo

Located in the Phoenix Park, Dublin Zoo is the home to many exotic animals and would provide a great day out for the family. The Zoo is a 20 minute walk from Heuston Station. It is possible to get the Luas from the city centre to Heuston Station in order to walk to the Zoo. Information on ticket prices and opening times can be found on the Dublin Zoo website.

Guinness Storehouse

One of the most popular attractions in Dublin, The Guinness Storehouse is located just 13 minutes walk from Heuston Station. This is where you can enjoy a tour through the history of the successful drink and only enjoy a pint yourself while enjoying a 360 degree view of Dublin in the Gravity bar. The Old Jameson Distillery

Another huge tourist attraction in the form of The Old Jameson Distillery is nearby. Here visitors learn about the story of the Irish whiskey brand known worldwide, in its original spot on Bow Street in Smithfield. Trinity College Dublin

Located further away in the city centre is Trinity College Dublin. This working college is perhaps most famous for housing the Book of Kells. However, it features many historical buildings and tours are available to learn about the history of the college. Croke Park

Home to Gaelic games and house the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Croke Park is a sports venue that offers many attractions to visitors. This sports arena hosts the finals of GAA games but if you are not in Dublin when one of these is on you can still enjoy a tour of the stadium and the GAA museum. Croke Park also features the Etihad Skyline. This is a walkway along the top of the stadium, 17 stories high. Croke Park also is used as a concert venue in the Summer months. Aviva Stadium
